Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are the Programs Free?

A. The programs are not free. There are fees for all of the programs, but they do vary in types and costs.

Q. What are the Costs?

A. Some of the program fees are based on a sliding fees scale, depending on the client's gross income starting as low as $ 10.00 per class. Some of the programs have a flat fee per weekly sessions and everyone pays the same for the session each week they attend. Each program has a different Fee Schedule.

Q. Do you accept Credit Cards?

A. Yes we accept major credit cards as well as Cash and Checks.

Q. Do you allow Discounts?

A. Individuals who pay upfront for programs or in advance will receive a discount.

Q. What are the fees for the programs you offer?

A. Abuser Intervention Program is based on a sliding scale depending on the client’s gross income starting as low as $ 10 per class.
Anger Management and Parenting have flat fees, everyone pays the same fees.
Healthy Relationship which is a one day seminar is a flat fee.

Q. How do I get signed up?

A. This is a simple process. Call our office at 410-585-9019 and a staff member will schedule you for an intake appointment for you to come in and complete the initial intake assessment. This will allow us to sit down and discuss your specific situation and place you in the best program for your needs.

Q. How come the courts don't pay for this since they are the ones who ordered me into the program?

A. The programs are not paid for by the court. When the judge orders a person into a driving school, the defendant pays for the school, not the judge. If a court orders a person into a drug or alcohol program, the defendant pays, not the court. When you are ordered into an anger management or domestic violence program, it is your responsibility to make sure you do what it takes to complete the court order. It is part of taking responsibility for your own actions.

Q. What programs do you offer?

A We offer the following programs:
Anger Management Program
Abuser Intervention Program
Parenting Programs
Healthy Relationship Program

Q. Is there a waiting period after my initial intake assessment and how long do I need to wait before starting your classes.

A. There is no waiting period after you sign up. After your initial intake assessment the intake staff will assign you to the next group for you. You will start your group at the next group meeting.

Q. I am usually not comfortable in a group. How can you accommodate my fear of groups?

A. You are probably like most people. Most people are afraid of sharing their feelings in a group setting or may be generally fearful of group involvement. We have worked with a majority of the individuals who come grow into the group process, become comfortable and get help out of the programs. However for a minority of individuals who due to some personal circumstances are not well suited for the group, we assign them to individual sessions.
